Coordinating our swim programs to maximise class efficiencies through effective shift rostering will be your prime focus. Recruitment, induction, training and performance management of supervisors and teachers will be critical to success. You will lead by example by also undertaking some in-water teaching and pool deck supervising.
This role reports directly to the Centre Manager.
Our Seven Hills centre is open Monday to Sunday, including mornings and evenings, so flexibility regarding work days/hours is required.
You can spot talented staff and are passionate about developing staff who report to you. You are bored when things are slow. You produce your best work when working under pressure, being able to multi-task and quickly problem solve in a calm manner.
Some of your other knowledge, skills and experience will include:
minimum 2 years' experience as a swim school Supervisor overseeing delivery of lesson structures and formats
minimum 2 years' experience in mentoring and providing feedback to teachers (or staff in a customer service role in another industry)
strong planning and organisation skills, adept at time management
effective problem solver
highly motivated with a vibrant and enthusiastic personality
ability to work independently, use initiative and demonstrate good judgment
a skilled recruiter who can identify potential talent on paper and select the best candidates through effective interview technique

About us & our Centre
Aquabliss Swim School has five aquatic centres across the greater Sydney region. We believe that it is not enough for people to just be able to swim, they need to be able to swim well.
Our Seven Hills aquatic centre, which is our flagship centre, offers an indoor 25m x 10m program pool plus a 17m x 8m learn to swim pool. The Centre is situated inside the Hills Indoor Sports Centre close to public transport and has been in operation for over 10 years.
The successful applicant will benefit from being part of our recently launched new swim methodology using better swimming techniques which will raise the standards for teaching swimming in Australia.
