The Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club, Newport, located on the Northern Beaches, is seeking to employ a Membership & Marine Coordinator who will administer all facets of the facility and membership administration processes including all membership enquiries, processing of new member applications and all facility enquiries for both casual and permanent marina bookings.
The position will be responsible for developing a detailed knowledge of the membership database and facility bookings systems to capture and report on facility and membership income, occupancy and trends. This role works closely with the Administration Manager, Marine Services & Operations Manager, and Waterfront team as well as significant contact and support of the Membership committee including organizing, attending and taking the monthly minutes.
Experience in administration, sales and marketing is desirable, as is previous experience within a membership or club based organisation. Excellent computer skills are required, especially Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite skills would also be advantageous.
We are looking for an organised, service orientated person who is an enthusiastic, self motivated, and positive team member. The RPAYC has a membership base of over 1800 members and the Membership & Marine Coordinator would be required to offer excellent service to our members and visitors to the Club.
This role is a permanent full-time position working 5 days per week with a split of 3 days Membership and 2 days Waterfront, Tuesday to Saturday, 9am - 5pm (some flexibility may be required to attend events on other days and assist reception when required).
