A key focus is to reenergise the centre by growing the business and increasing profitability through effective team leadership and working with head office to implement marketing initiatives and convert leads to sales. Developing a culture which is customer focussed and creating the next generation of coordinators and leaders is a priority. Safety , managing risk and compliance is also paramount.
To ensure you are leading by example, some in-water teaching and pool deck supervising will also be required. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will have the opportunity to provide input into the strategic direction of the centre. Our centre will be open Monday – Sunday, including mornings and afternoons, so flexibility regarding work days/hours is required.
You will be passionate about managing the centre as though you are running your own swim school but in compliance with Aquabliss policies and procedures.
Some of your knowledge, skills and experience will include:
minimum 2 years experience in running a medium to large size swim school, achieving budget and profitability targets
Minimum 2 years experience as a swimschool coordinator in a medium to large format facility
minimum 2 years management and leadership experience, sucessfully leading teams, demonstrating an ability to inspire them
an entrepreneurial spirit with a flair for sales and marketing, confident and skilled to promote a swim school and convert leads into sales
Aquabliss Swim School has seven aquatic centres across the greater Sydney region. We believe that it’s not enough for people to just be able to swim, they need to be able to swim well.
Our Seven Hills Aquatic Centre is the "jewel in the crown" and offers an indoor 25m pool and a 18m program pool to an established but growing and vibrant community. The Aquatic Centre is well established in the Seven Hills local area and has been operating for 10 years. The swim school has a strong brand and reputation in the local community. The facility has had recent upgrades to equipment and a new set of changerooms for customers.There are also other complimentary businesses which form part of this facility including a gym, indoor sports centre and physiotherapist.
The successful applicant will benefit from ongoing support by our Head Office team and also our recently launched new teaching methodology which will raise the standards for teaching swimming in Australia.
